The Gang Card Game
Crack the Vault: The Gang Cooperative Poker
The Gang is a high-stakes, cooperative twist on Texas Hold 'em where players work together as a team of bank robbers. Instead of trying to bankrupt your friends, you must read their hands and correctly rank everyone's strength from weakest to strongest to crack open bank vaults.
How to Play: The Cooperative Heist
The game follows the traditional structure of Texas Hold 'em but replaces betting with predictive ranking.
-
The Setup: Each player is dealt two "pocket" cards.
-
The Rounds: There are four phases—Pre-flop, The Flop (3 community cards), The Turn (1 card), and The River (final card).
-
The Chips (No Betting!): In each phase, players grab a star-rated chip (1 to 6 stars) to indicate how strong they think their hand is relative to others.
-
1-star means you think you have the worst hand.
-
Highest star (based on player count) means you think you're the leader.
-
-
Communication Limits: You are strictly forbidden from talking about your cards. The only way to "talk" to your crew is by swapping and jostling for chips as the community cards are revealed.
-
The Showdown: After the final chips are taken, everyone reveals their cards. Starting from the 1-star chip, hands must be in strictly ascending order of strength.
Winning vs. Losing
The table wins or loses as a single "gang."
-
Success: If the rankings are 100% correct, you open one of three bank vaults.
-
Failure: If even one person misjudged their rank, you trip a red alarm card.
-
The Goal: Successfully open 3 vaults before you trip 3 alarms to win the game.
